Gac Fruit

Gac fruit is a rare tropical fruit native to Southeast Asia and occasionally found in parts of India. It is easily recognized by its bright orange to deep red spiky outer skin and its strikingly vivid interior. Gac fruit has a mild, slightly sweet and neutral taste, often described as subtle rather than strongly flavored. Because of this, it is commonly used more for its nutritional value and color than for its taste alone. In many cultures, it is mixed with rice, smoothies, or desserts.
